Bridgefield Shopping Centre has plans for a 35,000 square metres of commercial space

Bridgefield Shopping Centre has plans for a 35,000 square metres of commercial space which consists of an indoor shopping centre and village style high street comprising specialty shops, supermarkets and cafes. Details on stores which will likely have anchor tenants like Aldi, Coles or Woolworths.

A number of major department store brands are missing from Melton’s Woodgrove Shopping centre like Target and Myer. Many locals are expecting a shopping center similar to that at University Hill in Bundoora to be developed here.

Another shopping centre is planned for Toolern opposite Western BASE with a new train stations as part of the plan in Ferris Road

Buyers Camp Out To Secure Land

More than 20 groups of buyers camped out to secure land in the first stage of Bridgefield, a new $320 million community at 1230 Leakes Rd, Rockbank in Melbourne’s west. Stage One of the 1000-lot estate, being developed by 3L Alliance and Goldfields, was released on March 19 and recorded 49 sales in the first week.
